How it all began...

Bendy Kate is the creator of ‘Bendy Studio’. This had been a glimmer in her eye for the last 11 years, but with a decade of travelling the world teaching & performing she had to wait for the timing to be just right. In 2020 Kate felt this was the year to build this vision, coincidentally Covid19. Kate and her Fiancé pretty much single handedly created the first studio only to find out just 2 years into the lease the landlord tried to make them surrender the lease so he could sell the building…

Nothing stops these two…

They searched the whole of Bristol for a new venue and found one bigger, better and made it even more beautiful. 4000sq feet, 3 studios, one private training room, a chill out area and more. Bendy Studio is one of the highest level pole, aerial & acrobatic training facilities in Bristol. Available for classes, professional training, instructor hire, photoshoots, filming & more. You can also find treatment rooms here where Bendy is offering Sports Therapy treatments to help you upside down for many many years to come!

Who are we?

Bendy Kate is one of the highest level pole dancers & instructors in the UK. Her real name is Kate Czepulkowski, she was given the nickname ‘Bendy’ in 2010 when she started pole in Bristol. No one could pronounce her Polish surname and she was pretty flexible so ‘Bendy’ it was! Since then Bendy has won the UK Pole Championships 3 years running and became WORLD POLE CHAMPION in 2014! She has travelled the world teaching Pole Dancing  masterclasses and performing. Travelling to and teaching at thousands of pole studios around the world contributed to Bendy’s choices in how to make the BEST pole studio! Bendy really understands the requirements of pole & what it takes to compete.

Don’t be fooled she is not just a pole dancer….

Bendy is also a high level aerialist, acrobat and hand balancer. She is a feminist,  and now also a Mum to little Esme, our studio mascot.

Not only does Bendy have some reputable achievements on paper, pole & aerial also helped her overcome an eating disorder in her early 20s (which very nearly killed her). She knew that to be a positive role model, something had to change and that was her attitude towards food and her body.

We have worked with numerous talented individuals and companies to make the studio what it is today.
